Craft Wars

On one of the last days of summer vacation, when the kids had nothing to do and it was TOO HOT to go outside we had our own version of the show "Craft Wars" - I sat the kids down at the table and gave them each some misc. items from the house - paper cups, paper bowls, straws, yarn, toothpicks and markers and glue.  The challenge was to make a cat toy.  They had 15 minutes to create a finished project.  This is what my daughter came up with - a toy that travels with the cat.  I thought it was great (the cat found it a bit annoying, but he got over it.)
