For a Girl

Our daughter's room in one of our old houses.  My husband painted the lighthouse above the closet door and clouds on the ceiling.
She loved seeing the moon outside, so my husband painted her one of her very own above her bed.  When she was little our daughter would often run outside to see it, or enjoy a car ride in which we would drive around town to "chase" the moon. (this was back when gas was $1.69/gallon)
He painted sea gulls above the changing table, so she could "watch" them when laying down
This picture was taken a while after the others, on moving day, obviously, but it is a good one of the walls and ceiling.  I used my turkey platter to mark half circle arches around the room, and then painted above blue and below yellow.  I used a chalk line to make big X's, and then an ivy stencil to give her room a garden feel.
